Education, especially urban education and EAGLE’s mission has become one of my greatest passions. I’m fortunate enough be a founding member of EAGLE and will be completing my 9th year with the organization. During my time with EAGLE, I’ve had the opportunity to teach extremely intelligent scholars and help develop some of the most dedicated and amazing teachers in the STL network. I started my education journey at Missouri Valley College and earned my BS in Exercise Science and Psychology. After a few years in the business world, I made a career change and returned to school to earn my Master of Arts in Teaching at Missouri Baptist University. Looking ahead, I’ll be serving the region with ensuring all scholars have the opportunity to access rigorous curriculum and are provided the best quality instruction they deserve. In doing this, I’ll be focusing on the areas of curriculum, instruction, data analysis, professional development, and creating learning communities for all. The foreseeable future is full opportunity to move us from good to great, and I am excited and honored to be one partner at EAGLE in moving us in the right direction.
